Bay Area Vintage Guitars proudly presents this pristine 1967 Fender Coronado II in the exceedingly rare and captivating Wildwood III (Rainbow Gold) finish.

Discovered by the family of the original owner in a closed, this guitar is a true collector's dream, showcasing the unique and stunning coloration that makes the Wildwood series so sought after by enthusiasts and collectors alike.

This Coronado II isn't just about good looks; it comes equipped with a factory tremolo system, offering versatility and smooth vibrato effects that enhance playability and sonic expression. The condition of this guitar is second to none—as if it has traveled through time. There are only hairline scratches and minor, if any, aging throughout. As shown in the pictures, the neck looks unplayed. The case has scuffs and scratches while doing its job protecting this beauty since 1967.

Fender called this option Wildwood III' Rainbow Gold' in their catalog, which was created by injecting living beech trees with dye and physically coloring the tree from the inside before harvesting. This artistic endeavor makes Wildwood unique and cool, as each guitar differs from the next due to the grain pattern and how the dye is used on the wood. This particular finish is beautifully grainy and golden. The grain of the body is so beautifully book-matched front and back, and matching Wildwood headstock, the whole guitar looks like a museum piece!

The original hangtag, which links to its authentic heritage, is included with the guitar. It also comes with its original hardshell case, featuring a distinctive yellow interior that has protected this beauty over the decades.

Here's your opportunity to own a piece of Fender's colorful history. Whether you're a player looking to dazzle visually and sonically or a collector seeking to add a crown jewel to your collection, this 1967 Fender Coronado II checks all the boxes. We've owned several Coronado IIs over the years, but never a Wildwood III, and this one is easily one of the nicest visually and sonically we've ever seen and heard.

Take advantage of this opportunity to own this exquisite example of Fender's innovative design and craftsmanship of the late 1960's.

Please review all of the photos closely, as they are part of the description and are of the actual item you will receive. The guitar is sold as-is. Don't hesitate to reach out with any questions prior to your purchase.
