It’s wild how in-demand slab board Strats are these days, but after playing this 1959 Fender Stratocaster in its original Sunburst finish, it’s clear why! Fender moved into Rosewood “slab” fretboards in mid-1959, and this first-year specimen is an excellent example of the era. This guitar was certainly played but well maintained, with an even, light wear throughout. The neck features a subtle birdseye figure, and the profile has a smooth, played-in feel. Thanks to a professional refret, this guitar is ready to play for years!
Overall Condition: 7.5, light wear throughout, mild patina, edgewear
