Vintage original 1973 Rickenbacker model 4001 bass in original Mapleglo finish.
A classic vintage Rickenbacker 4001 with all the early features. Original checkerboard binding. Original early bridge with aluminum saddles.
A light and resonant example. Sounds incredible plugged in with that classic vintage Ric percussive tone.
Bass is all original but is missing chrome cover, the nut is changed, and the strap pins have been changed. There is also a small chip in the pickguard. The rest of the wear on the bass is normal play wear. No cracks or breaks.
Comes with a vintage hardshell case, period correct.

After 24 hours, no returns. Buyer assumes all shipping charges. If we agree to a return, as in an internet sale, instruments must be returned in the condition they were sent. Shipping costs will be deducted from the return, and buyer will assume these costs. If we accept a return there will also be a 5% re-stocking fee. All merchandise sold is in used - as is condition. All sales final. If there is an exception made on any return over 24 hours, there will be a 15% re-stocking fee to the customer. No returns whatsoever on guitar parts.
