STR Guitars produces STR Built by ASKA, which is produced in the same factory as STR but at a lower cost.
The ACS-4 that has just arrived has a Padauk top made of Ash, which is a special wood material that is typical of STR.
The pickups are DiMarzio DP247 and DP248, and the preamp is a Bartolini XTCT, which is both modern and traditional JB.
The ash body and ebony fretboard provide a very fast startup, and the Bartolini XTCT's high-quality middle, tight low-end, and clean highs are a perfect match.
