Todd Krause joined the Fender Custom Shop in 1991 and was promoted to Senior Master Builder of the Fender Custom Shop in 1997.
He has built guitars for some of the greatest guitarists of all time, and Todd took over from J.W. Black and George Blanda to build Jeff Beck's guitars.
This is the Custom Jeff Beck Stratocaster that he created.
The guitar is equipped with the characteristic Wilkinson roller nut and two-point tremolo unit for smooth arming vibrato, and a Hot Noiseless PU for moderate power and low noise.
Many Jeff Beck models have very thick necks, but this one has a slightly thinner C shape, making it easy to play even for those who do not like that thick, characteristic neck.
The neck is made of the highest grade bird's eye maple, and the fingerboard is made of a dense, black, Hakaranda-like grained wood, which is a special specification made possible only by Master Builder.
This is a great choice not only for Jeff Beck fans, but also for those who are looking for a Stratocaster that can be used on the field!
