Exceptionally fine 1965 Fender Jaguar in it’s original and vibrant sunburst finish. This transitional era instrument has many desirable features such as Kluson double line tuners, no neck binding, pearl dot inlays, and an L serial plate. Overall the guitar is very, very clean and has one of the most vibrant bursts we’ve seen on a vintage Jag. The original gray fiber pickups sound nice and punchy and also have that much needed Fender twang. Neck is dated 1AUG65B and the pots are coded 3046530, dating to the 30th week of 1965. It has been professionally set up with 11s and plays / sounds wonderful. The only noteworthy issue is that the volume pot on the rhythm circuit is a bit finicky and will go up and down but not shut off completely. This collector’s grade instrument is entirely original with the exception of the bridge and comes with it’s original black no logo hardshell case.
