1959 Gibson Les Paul "Sunburst"

Just in, a stellar example of a true "holy grail" electric guitar! This 1959 Gibson Les Paul is one of the best we've seen in the shop; a fantastic example of what makes these the gold standard of the vintage guitar world. A beautifully figured and book matched flame maple top with a unique grain is highlighted by a gorgeous sunburst finish that has faded to a beautiful honey color typical of this era. Like other guitars in the 9 0xxx range the neck is the perfect '59 profile which makes it a dream to play, while the original Pattent Applied For humbuckers deliver the classic tone you've heard on countless legendary recordings. This guitar features an original "Double White" coil PAF in the bridge and zebra coil in the neck. The plastic tuner tips have been replaced but all other elements remain original and the guitar includes the 5 latch brown lifton case. 1959 Les Pauls are all great guitars but this one truly stands out visually and sonically; it doesn't get better than this!
