Description

2001 Gibson Les Paul Deluxe in excellent condition. Known as the 30th Anniversary model, these were made in limited quantities from 1999-2001, available in gold, wine red and ebony, a tribute to the 1969 Les Paul Deluxe.

Weighing in at 9 lbs. 2 oz., guitar is in excellent condition, seeing regular studio use when current owner obtained guitar in 2006, but diminishing use since 8/27/09 Plek job. Finish has some light scratches, about right for a 20 year old guitar that's been played, but well taken care of. An incredibly accurate reissue for the year; neck isn't the deep D-shape common like the originals, it's a much more comfortable feel, closer to the slim '61 LP/SG style. Plek job has made this an even more awesome player; since the treatment, the frets have seen little action. Gibson Deluxe branded tuners, dual mini-humbuckers, gold top hat knobs. No belt-buckle rash or shirt-button worming on back. Original Gibson red-lined case; original owner removed the combination lock and glued a fancy piece of wood in its place.

Some neck spex:
Width at 1st fret 1.729 in. 12th fret 2.064 in. Thickness 1st fret .821 in. 12th fret 1.053 in

I have also attached two photos of our original '69 Deluxe along side this '01. Sorry, it's not for sale (at this time).

NOTE: Our black guitars have been incredibly difficult to photograph. Especially in trying to show all of the imperfections and still maintaining a good balance on the white and chrome or nickel parts. In these photos, most of the body areas that show unevenness of color, white streaks or colored patterns are usually showing reflections. Any finish damages or imperfections of color are always addressed in text and shown in photos the best way we know how. Thanks!
