2000 Gibson R8 Les Paul Makeover

This 2000 Gibson R8 Les Paul Reissue that went thru a makeover byJamCity Guitars.

The makeover includes: Hot Hide Glue used for all glue joints
Stem out the neck, remove the fingerboard with a heat blanket, retop the guitar with Premium Grade Eastern Flame Maple, install beautiful dark black 50'slooking Brazilian fingerboard with nitrate inlays, reshape the neck profile to remove excess shoulder. Finish with correct aniline dyes, nitro lacquer, silkscreen “Les Paul” script, restamp S/N, Gotoh featherweight tailpiece. Refret with Jescar 57110 frets. The guitar weighs 8lbs. 4oz. Original Gibson HS case. The R8 stamp in the control cavity was saved and inlayed into the new top. JamCity Guitars COA included. The pickups are the original Classic 57's that came with the guitar. Great sustain, Killer tone and plays like butter. The guitar has a few dings & checks and is in Excellent condition.
