AKG D12 Cardioid Dynamic Microphone Vintage 1960s

Super cool vintage cardioid microphone from AKG! From my research, it looks like this one is from around the 1960s.  

In decent shape. The microphone grill cover band has a crack on the top that holds the grill. The grill without the cable port seems to have been replaced. 

The end of the cable has the female XLR connector and will need a Male-Male adapter to use with most modern equipment. I do not know if this is the original hardwired XLR cable/connector, but it does look to be period correct, however it is quite odd that this ends with female XLR.
