Overall Good condition Baby Bass from 1970. Comes with original stand and bag.
Has slight headstock crack but is stable and not moving.
Struggling to compete with Fender's new fretted basses, the BB-4 was Ampeg's attempt at creating an upright bass that could compete with the times. It featured a composite body similar to Supros of the time and a new piezo-style bridge design that attempted to replicate the sound of an acoustic bass.
