Ampeg Lucite Bass. This guitar/bass was designed by Dan Armstrong at the request of Ampeg and was released between 1969 and 1971. The scale is 30' 1/2 scale with 24 frets, and the pegs are used for guitars. The short scale is easy to play and can be used by guitar players without any discomfort. The fingerboard is made of Brazilian rosewood (Hakaranda), an endangered species, making this a unique vintage bass that stands out from the crowd.
