You don’t see these everyday! Back in the early 60’s Dan Armstrong (at that time a Guitar tech in New York city) asked Ampeg if they had ever considered building guitars, as they were well know for building guitar amps. They in turn requested that Dan design something for them that would fit the times (the psychedelic 60’s). He came up with these super funky guitars built out of plexiglass (AKA lucite)! This bass comes with its original hard shell case as well as its often lost second pick up and OG paper work! The pick ups were designed by Bill Lawrence. This particular bass came in as a pair with a guitar of the same year! Out fit your band with some super rad gear!
