The PE-R80 is a double-sided maple/mahogany/maple body, and is made of maple/mahogany/maple wood, The PE-R80 has a three-layer construction with a beautifully curved arch top, a deep neck joint, and a smooth heel-less cut for high playability and luxurious construction. The original "Classic Power" pickups produce a fat, viscous sound. The playability and the solid, tight, yet clear sound make this an all-around model that can be used well even after nearly 40 years.
