Description

The soul of Japanese guitar-making technology, a uniquely Japanese original shape guitar.

Arai Boeki began producing original Japanese-made guitars that could compete overseas, whereas the Japanese electric guitar industry had been dominated by copy models made by Gibson, Fender, and others. The PE series of Aria Pro II, a purely Japanese original shape guitar, was born as a result of the relationship with Matsumoku. Starting with the PE-1500 released in 1977, a wide variety of models have been released in the Aria Pro II catalog up to the present day, and it is a representative model of the Aria Pro II lineup.

This 1981 PE-1500 is the highest-end model, a reproduction of the PE-1500 when it was first released. The neck scale is a medium scale neck. 1977 and 1978 PE-1500 were released with a machined maple body, and later a laminated body with mahogany between the maple, but this guitar follows the solid maple body. This guitar is a custom model in black burst color, which was not listed in the catalog at that time. The name of Mr. Nobuaki Hayashi (H.Noble), who worked for Matsumoku at that time and contributed greatly to the production of the PE series, is engraved on the head of this model, and the stable condition of the neck, which is evident by its age, is also an attractive feature of this vintage Japanese guitar. If you are a man who wants to "keep the soul of Japan in Japan," PE is very popular overseas as well, and is rapidly going out of the country. Please take this opportunity to acquire one of a kind.
