~1978 Aria Pro II SB-700 Natural

Summary: This is a really beautiful & powerful vintage Aria Pro II SB700 bass guitar & it comes with the original hardshell case. This heavy (over 11 pounds) bass is so solid & strong sounding that you have to hear it to believe it!

Body: Solid body double cutaway – this bass has a neck through construction with a 5-piece neck and the body looks like it has 9 pieces of wood…..Maple &

Neck: 5-piece neck with a rosewood fingerboard, dot inlays, 1.75” nut width, 34” scale length, original brass nut & bridge, 24 frets.

Pickups/Hardware: Original Aria Pro tuning keys, brass nut & brass bridge, single MB-II pickup, dot inlays, original case with plush red interior, one volume, one tone, toggle switch. This headstock has an old-school Aria Pro II logo with a Patent # and a paragraph written on the headstock.

Cosmetics: This bass guitar is in pretty good shape – I did find some small dings on the body & some buckle rash on the back near the upper horn – the finish is so powerful and the wood grain stands out so strong that you really have to hold the bass in your hands in order to notice any marks or scuffs.

Playability: This old bass plays great – the action is low & we recently set it up with a new set of 45-100 bass strings. The frets are in good shape & have a lot of life left in them. The truss rod was tested & it still works – this bass was very easy to set up & get rocking.
