Summary: This is a rare Aria Pro II “SLB Series” bass guitar with a Jazz/Precision pickup setup and a wild finish. This bass plays and sounds great and would make a great beginner bass guitar or something to add some color to the stage. This one comes with a gig bag & we will ship it well packed and fully insured.
Body: Solid body, double cutaway bass guitar with a wild multi-color finish.
Neck: Maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard, pointy headstock with the Aria Pro II logo, 22 frets, 34” scale length, 1 9/16” nut width, dot inlays.
Pickups/Hardware: 1 Jazz style pickup in the bridge & a P-Bass style pickup in the middle. 1 volume and 1 tone knob & a 3 way switch. Chrome bridge & tuning keys
Cosmetics: This bass shows a lot of wear that is hard to see in the photos because the wild finish hides a lot of the flaws. There are some chips in the finish at the end of the bass near the bridge, lots of small dings around the edges of the bass, some sticker residue above the pickups and some pick scratching on the top. The neck has a few dings on the headstock & its missing the truss rod cover. The back looks pretty good but there are some scuffs and signs of buckle rash if you hold it the lights. Overall this bass is in good used condition but it does show some wear from being played over the years. There are 3 small holes drilled into the back of the headstock.
Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has just inspected, setup and restrung this bass guitar with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functioning and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets are in great shape with no major grooves or divots from use and it plays beautifully up and down the fingerboard with no dead spots or choking out.
