During his time at Matsumoku, Mr. Nobuaki Hayashi produced many copies of his original guitars, which were highly acclaimed by those around him, but he also pursued the meaning of making original guitars and developed the PE, an original shape guitar that is the pride of Japan. His original brand "Atlantia" reflects his will and pursues his ideal, with a lineup of guitars and basses with originality and high performance.
The Garland is a simple passive bass with only master volume and master tone controls. The simplicity of the design allows you to directly feel the quality of the wood used, and you can more than enjoy the sound of the high-quality wood. The strongly-angled neck provides a good grip and is very easy to play, allowing you to play in any position without using unnecessary force. The unique body shape is well balanced whether you play sitting or standing, and you will not feel any frustration. This is a high-quality passive bass with high playability that embodies the pursuit of the ideal.
It has been set up well at our store, and the string height at the 12th fret of the 4th string is only about 1.2mm. This is a very aggressive setting, which seems to have been a personal preference of our repairman. We can feel the goodness of the basic construction, including the potential ability of the instrument to respond to this.
