B.C.Rich was established in 1973. The Mockingbird was released in January 1976 and was designed to resemble a bird flapping its wings in the sky. The practical special effects were invented at that time, and the versatile sounds obtained in combination with the high-output DiMaggio pickups are characteristic of B.C.Rich. 3 knobs are Master Volume and Boost Volume, Master Tone, and a 6-position rotary switch. switch is a preset tone, and the toggle switch is a pickup selector. The mini-switches are, from top to bottom, a booster switch, a phase switch, and a dual sound switch for each pickup. The long sustain obtained from the through-neck construction is also an attractive feature. With Grover Imperial pegs, cloud inlays made of Avalon, and a beautiful and bewitching flame maple top that changes its grain depending on the angle of view, this Mockingbird has a very gorgeous and eye-catching look with high performance.
