Telecaster bass made by Bacchus!
Bacchus is a Japanese brand that has a large lineup and is highly supported by professionals and amateurs alike.
This BTB-53 was manufactured in the 1990s and 2000s, and was developed before Fender started selling Jazz basses and Precision basses, and is in the style of the Telecaster bass (original Precision bass), which was the origin of the electric bass.
The body material is ash. The neck is a one-piece maple neck.
The original had one bridge saddle for each string, but this model has been replaced with a bridge with two saddles, one for the 1st and 2nd strings and one for the 3rd and 4th strings. The modification that made it more similar to the OPB shows the previous owner's attention to detail.
The finger rest has been retrofitted to cover the disadvantage of the 1PU, which is the difficulty of picking near the bridge.
The sound is vintage style, focused on the midrange, and is recommended for those who want to enjoy a different OPB style from the PB!
