2007 Beard Model E Squareneck Sunburst

Excellent condition featuring solid figured flamed maple body, spun cone, arched back, bound top and back, ebony bridge, square flamed maple neck, ebony fingerboard with decorative pearl inlays, bone nut, bound peghead, flamed maple peghead veneer with Beard logo inlay, Schaller tuning machines, nickel plated metal hardware, sunburst finish and TKL hard shell case. The original hangtag with date and signature is included.

This Beard Model E is in cosmetically excellent condition and has been well cared for over the years. There are two small dings - one on the bass side of the body and one on the top - which I have photographed. It is an outstanding squareneck resonator that sets the bar for the modern squareneck sound and feel. The tone of this instrument cuts through a band unlike anything else while retaining a lush, pure resonator tone. The guitar plays flawlessly as well and delivers an all around playing experience that is second to none. I have tuned it in a few tunings and find that it is quite versatile when it comes to performing well in various tunings. A bluegrass standout, this guitar is not limited to any single style and would perform flawlessly in Hawaiian, Country, and Blues styles. Paul Beard and his associates up in Maryland have long built high quality resonator guitars and this one is no exception.
