The Birdkids Bateleur (22hp) VCO MKII builds on the success of its predecessor with a range of improvements. The Bateleur VCO MKII is a multi-function module comprising of a powerful VCO and a -24dB/octave low-pass filter. The VCO is 100 percent analog, delivering a fat, rich vintage sound, featuring 4 classic waveforms for sound design. The analog design makes the Birdkids Bateleur VCO ideal for creating bass and lead sounds. Featuring Thru-Zero FM, the Bateleur is capable of creating massive FM sounds. The Bateleur provides you with a powerful VCO that delivers raw, analog sound that cut through in your mix. New features of the MKII version include a sync mode, frequency range switch with six switches, additional filter mode, and more.

The Birdkids Bateleur VCO Expander (8hp) adds more functionality to the Bateleur VCO providing you with more sound sculpting possibilities. It allows you to now take control of the resonance, which was only switchable on the main module, now providing you with more versatility and flexibility. The Bateleur now adds a VCA function with level control, plus an output and a CV input with attenuator, allowing you to create a VCO-VCF-VCA voice. The Bateleur VCO Expander adds exponential FM with an attenuator, allowing you to create a new range of sounds with the Bateleur VCO. The expander allows you to control both the filter cutoff and resonance simultaneously.
