2000 Brian Moore Custom Guitars MC/1: The MC/1 Serial Number 400 was Brian Moore’s flagship show guitar. It was produced for NAMM shows during the same time period that PRS was doing their Dragon series. This MC/1 is the most celebrated guitar BMG ever made. Featured in their marketing materials and in several guitar history books. The mountain range inlay on the fretboard was created by master inlay artist Ray Memmel. Ray did all of the inlay work for BMG and this was his masterpiece. Looking closely at the inlay one will see the Moon on the horizon, several planets and shooting stars. The level of detail and craftsmanship is unmatched. Completely done by hand, and in the USA, this is one the most unique guitars ever produced. Combined with all the unique features that the ground-breaking MC/1 brought to the guitar industry, this is one of the most finely crafted instruments ever made."
The MC/1 features a composite body with a AAAAA Maple top. The body shape is unique as is the input jack placement and truss rod adjustments. I have not replaced the strings or done a set-up on this guitar. It is as it came from the factory. I did include set of strings if you wish to do that yourself but I suspect this guitar will be for show. Included is the original hard shell case and inspection sheet.
Please view all of the photos to complete the description. Please feel free to send any questions and I answer them as quickly as possible.
Guitars can experience slight changes during shipping that may require minor adjustments. In addition, I can not predict how you like your guitar set up. Be advised that minor adjustments or a set-up to your liking may be required and the costs associated with these adjustments should be expected.
Please note that I sell predominantly pre-owned guitars. These are not personal instruments so, although they are inspected and tested, it is possible that I might miss a small nick or ding or, in the case of older guitar there may be just to many blems to photograph all of them. I will not be responsible for any shipping charges because you want to send the guitar back because you found a nick or ding that I did not describe or show in a photo.
