Overview
Buffet Crampon A clarinet, prestige. Tubes granadilla. Key silver plated. Joint reinforcement ring (tenon socket). Movable thumb rest (old type). Barrel is R13 prestige (P-13 660), manufactured in 1994. Includes double hard case (one hinge is broken, handle is worn*) and case cover (worn). List price 961,950 yen.
The case that comes with the instrument is in need of repair. Please consider this box for take-out and shipping only. We deal in new double cases for various clarinets. Please contact Nakamura.
Condition
Gold lettering logo on barrel and upper pipe is worn. There are some pinholes and a few spots on the keys, but the plating has not peeled off. All pads have been replaced (Gore-Tex) and all corks have been replaced for overhaul adjustment and maintenance.
The barrels of the new arrivals have R-13 Prestige barrels installed. Although they are different models, there is no balance problem with this combination.
Features and Attractiveness
Based on the stable balance and mellow sound quality of the RC model, the Prestige A-tube is a popular upper model that adds responsive pronunciation and sparkling expressiveness in the upper register. However, there are still strong supporters of the direct RC sound of the previous model.
