6119 Tennessee Rose was released in 1958. It was first released as 6119 Tennessee Rose, and then the name was changed. This model was named after the name of the album by Chet Atkins, who was the endorser of Gretsch at that time, and has been loved by many musicians since its release, and is still a popular model. The 16-inch archtop body with full hollowbody construction is equipped with Ray Butts' Filter-Tron humbucking pickups, which give the Gretsch sound a delicate but not too thin treble range and a warm but not too thick mid-bass. The Bigsby unit allows for dynamic vibrato playing with a large fluctuation of sound. The Gretsch is a one-of-a-kind instrument that has established its own unique taste and sound, and is used not only in country music but also in a wide range of other genres.
