You are admiring a 2008 EVH 'Art Series' Charvel Strat that was hand-striped, played live, and autographed by Eddie Van Halen. This particular guitar was used by Eddie on May 23rd, 2008 at Madison Square Garden, NYC. Besides the fact it was played in the top venue of the greatest city on earth, Eddie's love & respect for this city is incorporated right into the graphics with 'VHNY' in large print right across the face…something rarely seen on EVH guitars. Needless to say this makes it a very unique & desirable guitar, especially to all of Eddie’s fans here in NYC. Let me just state the obvious; no aspiring rock-star ever dreams of someday playing Joe-Blow's Roadhouse in Oshkosh...Hell No!!! But everyone, including Eddie, dreams of playing 'The Garden'...'nuff said! This of course comes with a good 8x10 photo of Eddie playing it, along with the certificate of authenticity signed by Eddie. Also included are some EVH strings, neck Strap, backstage VIP pass, ticket stub & confetti from that night. And there's youtube video online that was shot from the front row of Eddie playing the guitar during "And The Cradle Will Rock". All of this comes in the original EVH Art Series black hard-shell case.
