SN 32047. This nearly new 12-fret 00 from Collings has impressive tone and volume. The wider neck, string spacing and low action make it an ideal fingerpicker and folksy strummer. The Adi top drives enough response to cut through the other instruments when called upon. It’s modeled after a Martin 00-18 from the late 20’s, of course, and has the same simple appointments and sweet woody sound of that era. Back and sides are Honduran mahogany. Matte finish. Pyramid bridge and fretboard made from ebony with vintage style short pattern dots. Slotted headstock with 28-style volute.
The guitar is previous owned but you would hard pressed to tell. Even the case candy is intact – warranty info, decal and optional pick guard. Comes with the original TKL-made and Collings branded deluxe case.
