Named for the scenic 290 highway that winds past the Collings shop though the Texas Hill Country, the 290 is a modern day tribute to the original working man’s rock’n roll guitar. A solid mahogany body and neck are complimented by two Lollar Imperial pickups for a tone that shows off the amazing harmonic range and dynamics of this often underrated configuration.

Specs!Custom Gotoh tuners. Ebony headstock overlay with pearl inlay. Bone nut with a width of 1-11/16″. Mahogany Neck with a depth of .86″ at the first fret and .97″ at the 12th fret. 24-7/8″ scale length. Rosewood fingerboard with a 12″ radius. 22 medium frets. Honduran mahogany body. Two Lollar Imperial humbuckers. DiMarzio Pots and Jupiter caps. Gotoh ABR1 style bridge and stop bar tail piece. Comes with its original new hard shell case. Weighs 7 pounds and 4 ounces.
