Every Collings guitar is a sublime experience here at the shop. This guitar is just ridiculous.
First off, it is pretty amazing that this guitar is over 20 years old. It has obviously been very well cared for. The condition of the entire guitar is as if it is just a couple years old. The frets show light wear. It plays like a dream and sounds like a dozen.
They're already classic guitars, and this one is likely to rise to the top. A little research shows that Collings made just 850 acoustic guitars in 2002. It is also one of few that I can find on the interwebs that was produced with an Adirondack spruce top.
The guitar is all original with no repairs or issues, the truss rod was checked and has room for future adjustment, the saddle is tall and the action is perfect.
The original case is included.
