Description
Up for sale is a new Collings I-30 LC in a lovely, high-gloss Tobacco Sunburst finish over a figured maple top. This is one sweet guitar and it’s become an instant shop favorite. Comes complete with its original hard case and pro setup by our in house tech. Weight: 5lbs. 11oz.

Per the Collings website: “The lightweight, ‘trestle’ braced body of the I-30 LC has been refined through extensive R&D, and is the distillation of knowledge gleaned from our popular I-35 and Statesman LC series. The trestle brace design directly couples the neck and tail block, creating exceptional strength and acoustical energy transference, while also allowing for a lightness and responsiveness that is both a tactile and musical joy to experience. Lollar Dog Ear P90s are perfectly matched to the instrument’s acoustic response and offer a wide palette of tones from rich jazzy warmth to 1960’s British Invasion style chime. Drawing its inspiration from both classic electric designs and our own previous models, the I-30 LC is an exciting step forward and an intriguing new Collings sound.”

Aged Nickel Gotoh tuners with Ivoroid buttons. Comfortable 1 11/16 inch bone nut. Mahogany neck with a 24 7/8 inch scale length and depth of .865 inches at the first fret and .97 inches at the twelfth fret. Bound Rosewood fingerboard with a 12 inch radius and 22 frets. Original Lollar P-90 pickups, DiMarzio pots, and Jupiter caps. Kluson ABR-1 with Collings trapeze tailpiece. 3-ply pickguard. The factory aged finish from Collings is about as perfect as they come. Beautiful amber hue presents exactly as a real blonde finish from the 50s-60s would appear.
