This Crown GPO was built by Teisco in the late 1960s. This guitar is in excellent condition and shows only light play wear throughout including some small finish dings, pick scratches on the pickguard and a ding on the back of the neck (see photos). Otherwise, this instrument is in great shape and has a very nice vibrant finish. The neck profile on this guitar is that of a medium C shaped carve with a 1 11/16” nut width. The frets appear to have been dressed at some point and are free of any dents or divots. This guitar has been set up and it plays excellent up and down the fingerboard with very low smooth action and great intonation. This guitar is very easy and fun to play! The original tremolo tailpiece operates smoothly and the original tuners work very well. The original Teisco single coil pickups sound excellent and deliver an array of vintage tones that are well suited for lo-fi soundscapes, grimy garage rock, quirky hillbilly pickin and space polka. This guitar didn't arrive to our shop with a case, but a padded gig bag will be included. If you are looking for an incredibly cool vintage hollowbody, this Japanese built Teisco is a great option!
