The OD-820, said to have been made with KLON CENTAUR in mind, has been modified by CULT to create the ultimate model!
The distortion-producing TS system circuitry was modified with the popular TS808 #1 Cloning mod.The TS circuitry that produces distortion has been modified in the same way as the popular TS808 #1 Cloning mod. to improve the quality of the drive sound itself, such as adding a sense of harmonic separation and transparency. The boosted power supply voltage produces a more articulate drive sound than the regular TS808 #1 Cloning mod. In addition, the clean mix mechanism of the original OD-820 has been completely eliminated in favor of a new mechanism devised by Susumu Tamura. A trimmer that adjusts the level of the clean sound and an "Additional Clean Vol." controller have been added to the board. The pedal has a strong vintage feel to it, but this modification gives the impression of a sound that can be used in the modern music scene.It is a beautiful item with little use.
