Here's a 1920s era, custom build acoustic guitar. We're calling it a custom build, because there are no labels or markings on the guitar. Possible Larson Brothers? The guitar came to us from a wonderful old Martin collection, and has the look and specs of the old ivory bridge Martin's and Larson Bros guitars. The guitar itself measures 14 3/4" at the bout, and 4 3/8" in depth. 12 frets to the body, with stunning Brazilian Rosewood back and sides, and as mentioned, a gorgeous ivory bridge. The guitar also features checker style binding on the top of the body, and around the sound hole, along with ivory binding on the front & back. And as you can see, beautiful abalaone inlays on the fingerboard and headstock. How incredible is that fingerboard?!? We professionally repaired the cracks throughout the top/back/sides....so everything is secure and completely structurally sound. The neck has a sharp V profile, and plays great! Tonally the guitar has lovely warm and mellow tone, with nice clarity. Sounds beautiful. Really unique and special piece here. Case included...
