Description
Sleek body shape and effortless playability. That's exactly what you get with the Deluxe Brighton from D'Angelico. It embodies the classic D'Angelico style from headstock to tailpiece, complete with stairstep tuners, inlaid art-deco headstock, and iconic "diver down" fretboard inlays. Made with an alder body and a set maple/walnut neck, the Brighton demonstrates superior resonance and sustain. Deep cutaways allow you to play the highest frets in complete comfort. Its vibrant tone is supplied by a pair of Seymour Duncan Seth Lover A4 humbucking pickups. You'll have access to warm, sultry jazz tones from the neck pickup and ripping blues tones from the bridge pickup. With its premium features and rich tonality, the D'Angelico Deluxe Brighton will stand out in any guitar collection.
Deep cutaways enable unmatched fret access

D'Angelico guitars are known for their easy playability. Guitarists at Sweetwater appreciate the satin-finished maple/walnut neck and ebony fretboard with 22 medium-jumbo frets that lend it a quick feel without feeling overly thick. You'll have no problem reaching the upper frets, thanks to the nearly nonexistent heel joint and deep cutaways on both sides of the neck. The neck is made from two pieces of maple glued on either side of a strip of walnut. This construction technique increases the strength of the neck (reducing the need for truss rod adjustments), and it looks great, too!

Seymour Duncan pickups deliver a wide tonal range

The D'Angelico Deluxe Brighton comes loaded with a set of classic-voiced Seymour Duncan Seth Lover A4 humbuckers. Thanks to their Alnico IV magnets, these top-shelf pickups offer wonderfully nuanced mids, infusing each note you play with depth, dimension, and amazing levels of clarity. To fine-tune your sound further, each pickup features its own volume and tone knob. And if that wasn't enough, push-pull tone knobs yield tones with lower output and single-coil-like texture.
