1966 D'Aquisto New Yorker Deluxe Excellent

1966 D'Aquisto New Yorker Deluxe in excellent condition. Serial number 1006 signed and dated James L. D'Aquisto 1/11/66. This is the sixth guitar made by D'Aquisto and was his first completed in 1966. The condition is miraculous. Having spent most of its life neatly protected in a case, the finish is bright, free of checking and shows no signs of wear. There are two neatly repaired cracks underneath the pickguard. The hardware is all original with the exception of an expertly replaced pickguard. We set-up the guitar with medium gauge strings and the playability is wonderful. We made a reproduction bridge top to allow for adjustability of the action. Currently set up with a vintage DeArmond Rhythm Chief. This is an exceptional guitar in every regard.
