Description

These rare DeArmond amps sound incredible, and this R-25T from 1960 is as big and as rare as they come! Not only is this size the largest of the DeArmond Amplifier line, but it is by far the rarest, especially in this great of a condition. Thanks to its higher wattage, this amp has a lot more clean headroom over the R5 and R15, and the EQ controls are extremely responsive. Across both channels, this amp has a clear, direct sound and a great-sounding tremolo. When the volume is pushed past 8, the amp starts to break up with a natural and full, distorted tone. This amp was professionally serviced with high-quality replacement capacitors and filter capacitors, and a new three-prong power cord.

Overall Condition: 10
