For your consideration: a Made in Japan Edwards LP Junior Double Cut, resplendent in a meticulously applied nitrocellulose TV Yellow lacquer, paired with a US-made Seymour Duncan SB90-1b P90 Dog-Ear pickup.
The craftsmanship exhibited in the fit, finish, and components of this guitar is truly exceptional. Despite our extensive experience handling numerous genuine Gibson Les Paul Juniors here at In Bloom, encountering this Edwards model has left us astonished. We can confidently affirm that it stands on par with, if not surpasses, most US-built counterparts—including some from the Custom Shop.
Crafted with a lightweight slab mahogany body, a '59 rounded profile mahogany neck, and a rosewood fretboard, this Edwards stays truer to the original '58 Juniors than many modern-day Gibson equivalents. The attention to detail evident in its flawless fit and finish is unparalleled. The delicately applied nitro finish adds to its allure, offering an authentically vintage appearance and feel. Finally, the US made Seymour Duncan P90 is the cream on top, delivering the signature bark and bite that these pickups are renowned for; dare we say, better than Gibsons own stock P90 pickup!
In terms of condition, our JR is in excellent shape, showing typical signs of light use with only a few minor cosmetic blemishes, indicative of an instrument that has seen little play. The frets are in fine condition with little wear, and the electronics are fully operational, functioning smoothly as intended.
Included is an Epiphone Japan gig bag.
