Replay Guitar Exchange is proud to offer this Electra Phoenix bass guitar in Gloss Black. Electra's new Phoenix retains much of the forward-thinking design ideas of their vintage Electra bass, while updating the body and electronics to meet the needs for the modern bass player. Moving the bass side horn out to the 12th fret and adding generous belly, forearm and treble side horn contours makes this bass comfortable to play, while retaining its aggressive look.
The Phoenix Bass is also Electra’s first collaboration with EMG, and includes two proprietary EMG PHZ pickups combined with a 5-way rotary selector and new Electra Coil Linkage System (CLS). This provides bass players with a wide array of series and parallel coil combinations — and a ton of analog tone. This Phoenix bass has an alder body and maple fretboard with a Babicz bridge and Hipshot tuners.
This Electra Phoenix bass is in Very Good condition, with only minor scratches, and an estimated 95% remaining fret life. Whether picked with roundwounds at full treble, or plucked in a laid back style with flats and darker tone settings, this is a solid and comfortable instrument that will cover your low-end needs for years to come.
