1970's Electra MPC SLM Guitar With Built In Effects Cherry Red

By the time the 70's rolled around, guitar effects had established themselves as an integral new part of the language of the electric guitar. They had graduated from studio trickery to a make-or-break ingredient of a song. That meant that bands HAD to have the same sounds live and there was no one "correct" way of making that happen. Stomp boxes had debuted a few years earlier, but quite frankly were a clunky and not quite perfect system for delivering effects. Enter, on-board effects. Vox had tried it previously but Electra really took things to another level. This LP/MPC has a really kick ass phaser and flanger that are the epitome of 70s cool.

It's a very well made piece that plays great. It has a big frets and a thin to thick neck taper. The intonation is spot on. The Grover tuners are nice and smooth. Good weight too (considering that you're also carrying two effects) at only 9 lbs 6 oz.
