1984 Electra Westone Futura Pearlescent White

This 1984 Electra Futura is in good cosmetic condition showing multiple bumps, dings, scratches and play wear throughout. This guitar has definitely been played quite a bit in its 38 years and it has the bruises to show it. The bridge pickup is a replacement Ibanez humbucker that has been professionally installed. The original bridge pickup is included but has a dead coil. Two potentiometers have been replaced. The electronics are now functioning perfectly with no excess noise and both pickups sound great! This guitar has a slim C shaped neck profile with a 1 11/16” nut width and it feels nice in the hand. The original fret wire shows some signs of play wear (see photos) but we had this guitar setup and it plays very well up and down the fretboard with low action and great intonation. To make this instrument play perfect, it would probably require a re-fret and a new nut, but it does play very good currently. These Made in Japan Electra/Westone instruments are very well made and this model in particular is quite scarce.
