1968 Epiphone Al Caiola Standard "Walnut"

An extremely rare and well preserved example of a Gibson made Epiphone Al Caiola model! Similar in construction to the Casino model, these guitars were fully hollow, thinline bodies with a pair of "Dog Ear" p90 pickups, however they had some truly unique features. Unlike other ES models, there are no F holes which drastically reduces feedback in a live situation. The guitar also comes with an array of switches which effectively function like a Varitone circuit, allowing for all the unique, notched tones employed by players like BB King and Chuck Berry. An extremely versatile guitar, this is one of the cleanest examples we've seen of this rare model!
