This Epiphone Coronet was made by Gibson in the USA in 1960. This is one of the rarer electric guitars Gibson every made. It is a transitional model that retains the slab-body of the first versions, but has a P-90 pickup like the thinner versions that came soon after this guitar was made. Very few were made in this rare configuration. This guitar is all original. This guitar was purchased about ten years ago by this store's owner, and at that time it had a very small headstock crack. The crack was repaired by Chris Mirabella guitars and is one of the best repairs we have ever seen - invisible and blacklights correctly. Chris Mirabella was able to do the repair and blend the original finish without using any overspray. This guitar comes with the original case.
