Description
Summary: First introduced in 1958, the Epiphone Coronet is one of Epiphone's first and most successful original solid body electric guitar designs. The latest version brings back many of the features of the early Coronet models including the double-cutaway mahogany body with a single Epiphone PRO P-90 Dogear pickup, three on a side reduced sized Kalamazoo headstock with Epiphone badge and ivory button tuning machines, and a white butterfly pickguard with foil E logo. The Epiphone Coronet comes equipped with a glued-in mahogany neck with a medium C profile, Indian Laurel fretboard with 12" radius and 22 medium jumbo frets, 1 volume and 1 tone control with CTS potentiometers, and an Epiphone Lightning Bar compensated wraparound bridge.

Body: Mahogany with a gloss Cherry finish.

Neck: Mahogany with an Indian Laurel fingerboard, 24.75” scale length, 12” radius, 22 medium jumbo frets, pearl dot inlays.

Pickups/Hardware: Single Dogear P90 pickup, three per side white button tuning keys, wraparound compensated tailpiece, master volume/master tone controls.

Cosmetics: This guitar is in excellent condition and shows very little signs of use besides a ding on the bottom cutaway (See Photos Please).

Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets are in great shape with no major grooves or divots from use and it plays beautifully up and down the fretboard with no dead spots or choking out.

Weight: 5.985 lbs.

Case: This guitar ships without a case, professionally packaged, and fully insured.
