This is a very cool and fairly rare Epiphone "Dwight" Coronet that was made by Gibson guitars in 1966. "Dwight" was the house brand for Sonny Shields Music in East St. Louis throughout the 1960's. This guitar is in very good playing and sounding condition. All of the parts on it are original but there are a few issues. The guitar has a well done pro-neck reset. The necks on these often pulled away, and this one was reset so the neck angle is excellent. The guitar also had non original tuners on it at one point. While the original tuners are back on it, the holes for the pegs were enlarged. Finally, this guitar originally had an epiphone vibrola on it, which mounted to the top with three screws. That was removed long ago, the three holes filled and touched up. This guitar has a rare "silver fox" finish which looks fantastic. It has been pro-setup and needs nothing. It comes with a non original hard case.
