The Epiphone EA-101 is not only the coolest looking little amp of its size and era, it is also a rare bird.
The kitchen appliance vibe of this mid-century modern masterpiece is just too much.

It is a good sounding amp for daily use, but I can also see it on a shelf in your office, a conversation piece in your loft - a vibe setter for sure.

I went through the amp to make sure it is running well for years to come.  The caps I replaced are included.  A grounded power cable was added.  I also installed a brand new Jensen speaker as the original was not in place when the amp arrived, and from what I've read, it was nothing to write home about anyway.

A nice allotment of tested, vintage, US made tubes are included in the amp.

The transformers and other parts that weren't changed in my service of the amp are original.  The tremolo is functional.  The amp runs nicely.

Someone added a jack plate to the amp at some point.  They had bypassed the internal speaker and ran the output to a jack on the plate.  I removed that baloney, and a hole with the added plate remains.

Shipping policy:
When you purchase this item you are hereby agreeing to this shipping policy. We remove tubes from amps that could be damaged in shipping.  We remove the chassis from some amps so that the large transformers don't damage a chassis or cabinet.  We remove heavy speakers from some amps so they don't damage baffles.  These cases result in multiple box shipments, and they require the buyer to do some assembly on delivery.  We do this because we have experienced shipping issues in the past, and this is our prevention measure.  Shipments will require signature on delivery, no exceptions.  If there is damage, the buyer must retain all packing materials intact and picture them immediately and send them to sales@maharsvintageguitars.com.  Less than 1% of our shipments are damaged in transit, and we are committed to making sure your item arrives safely, but we are taking these additional measures to make sure you are happy with your purchase.
