2013 Epiphone Genesis Sunburst

Summary: This wonderful Epiphone Genesis guitar was made in 2013 & it features a unique looking body with a fully bound flame maple top & a cool double cutaway design. The Genesis model was introduced in 1979 with a unique & wonderful body design and this particular 2013 model features upgrades like push/pull pickup switching, gold hardware & a beautiful flame maple cap that is fully bound.

Body: The Epiphone Genesis has a double cutaway mahogany body with an AAA flame maple veneer.

Neck: 1960’s slim taper D profile mahogany set neck. Fully bound rosewood fretboard with pearloid trapezoidal inlays. This instrument has 22 jumbo frets and a 12” fingerboards radius, 1 11/16 Nut width, 24.75” scale length.

Pickups/Hardware: Neck pickup is an Epiphone Probucker-2 and the bridge pickup is a Probucker-3. Epiphone all-metal 3-way pickup selector, neck pickup volume w/push/pull coil-splitting, bridge pickup volume w/push/pull coil-splitting, neck pickup tone, bridge pickup tone, Gold hardware, Gold Grover tuning keys.

Cosmetics: This guitar looks and feels brand new with just a bit of age showing on the pickup covers and a couple scuffs on the back control plate.

Playability: Guitar has been professionally set-up by our in house luthier and strung-up with a new set of 10’s. Plays beautifully up and down the fretboard with low action.
