Summary: Made in partnership with the Gibson Custom Shop, the Limited Edition 1959 Les Paul Standard is Epiphone's stunning recreation of the rare vintage classic. Featuring a mahogany body with a maple top with a AAA figured maple veneer, comfortable 1959 hand-rolled neck profile with long neck tenon, aged finish, Gibson USA BurstBucker 2 & 3 humbucking pickups, Switchcraft selector switch and output jack, CTS pots, 50s era wiring, Mallory capacitors, non-beveled pickguard, new Epiphone Deluxe vintage tuners, and a vintage-style brown hard case. It also comes with an Epiphone Limited Edition metal medallion toggle switch plate.
Body: Mahogany with a AAA figured Maple veneer top, finished in a satin Aged Dark Burst.
Neck: Mahogany with an Indian Laurel fingerboard, 24.75” scale length, 1.692” nut width, 12” radius, block pearl inlays, 22 medium jumbo frets.
Pickups/Hardware: Two Gibson Burstbucker pickups, Epiphone Deluxe keystone tuning keys, GraphTech nut, LockTone ABR-1 bridge/stop bar tailpiece, 2 Volume, 2 Tone, CTS pots, Mallory capacitors, 50s era wiring, 3-way Switchcraft toggle.
Cosmetics: This guitar is in excellent condition. It has a very small scuff on the back of the neck near the first fret. It has a few small indentations on the body that can be seen in a reflection. This guitar plays very well and sounds amazing.
Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets are in great shape with no major grooves or divots from use and it plays beautifully up and down the fretboard with no dead spots or choking out.
