Summary: This Epiphone LP is from the “Epiphone Custom Shop Limited Edition” series. It has a great feeling late ‘50s profile to the neck and a cool open grain satin finish to the neck and back of the guitar. The coil splitting push/pull pots allow for a single coil tone right at your fingertips making this a very versatile guitar. Our guitar tech has just set this guitar up and restrung it with a new set of 10s and it plays wonderfully.
Body: Mahogany body with a one piece maple top, wine red buffed finish and a satin back and sides with white binding.
Neck: Nice full feeling mahogany neck with a satin finish, open wood grain feel, binding on a rosewood fingerboard, trapezoidal inlays and jumbo frets.
Pickups/Hardware: 2 humbucker pickups with coil splits in the volume controls, 2 tones, 3 way toggle, tusq nut, tune-o-matic bridge and tailpiece.
Cosmetics: This guitar has minor scuffs and scratches on the top and some dents on the bottom side but is in overall great used condition. The frets have a small amount of wear but are plenty high and have tons of life left in them.
Playability: Our in house luthier has set this guitar up with nice low action and strung it up with a new set of 10s. It plays great up and down the fretboard with no issues.
