Perhaps the rarest Epiphone model ever made, the Epiphone Masterbilt Excellente acoustic/electric guitar is a rare vintage classic now available for the first time since 1970. Built in Indonesia, this beautifully ornate instrument shows off a solid Sitka spruce top on a solid ovangkol back and sides, complete with an ivory and black binding and a gloss Antique Natural Aged finish. The maple neck has a five-piece walnut and maple center stripe, with a C-shape for perfect playability and an ebony fingerboard on top.
Powered by the Fishman Sonitone onboard preamp system, this guitar is ready to use for the studio and the stage. On top of an amazing playing guitar, the Masterbilt Excellente also features a set of historic pearl cloud inlays, a bone nut and saddle and a set of gold vintage-style Waffleback tuners.
