Description

Now available on consignment, a 1967 Epiphone Riviera in its original cherry finish!

This model represents the ES335 equivalent in the Kalamazoo made Epiphone lineup, featuring a set of mini-humbuckers, an abr1 bridge, and parallogram inlays on a rosewood fingerboard.

Work to the guitar includes:

  • Schaller tuners installed at one point, modern kluson style tuners are currently installed with conversion bushings.

  • The abr1 bridge has been replaced.

  • Currently a B3 Bigsby is installed, the original frequensator tailpiece is included. There are NO extra holes to mount the bigsby so this is reversible.

Otherwise this guitar retains both of its original pickups, all original plastics including the 3ply white pickguard with the 'E' badge, and its original wiring harness. The original cherry finish is in good condtion for nearly 60 years old, showing moderate play wear and finish checking. The original frets do have some play wear, however play up and down the neck with no issues.

A fantastic looking and playing vintage Epiphone! Includes a hardcase, original frequensator tailpiece included.
